Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance practices, safety performance, and operational efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives. Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on dryers, separators, conveyors, motors, pumps, fans, and related production equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they impact production. Utilize troubleshooting techniques and maintenance best practices to improve equipment performance and reliability. Technology & Automation Support Support automated process equipment and industrial control systems. Assist with troubleshooting sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and basic PLC-related issues. Work closely with operations teams to optimize equipment performance through technology and process improvements. Support implementation and commissioning new equipment and emerging technologies. Maintenance Planning & Documentation Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts usage within MaintainX (CMMS). Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities. Maintain accurate work orders and equipment history records. Assist in managing spare parts inventory and identifying critical replacement components. Teamwork & Operational Support Partner with plant operations to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency. Assist maintenance personnel and contractors during major repairs, outage work, and capital projects. Communicate equipment status, repair recommendations, and reliability concerns to plant leadership. Maintain organized work areas and follow established housekeeping standards. Qualifications Preferred Experience High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, trade certification, apprenticeship, or military maintenance experience preferred. 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Experience troubleshooting rotating equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, or process equipment. Experience working in manufacturing, processing, aggregate, cement, bulk material handling, power generation, or industrial environments is a plus. Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, or industrial automation systems is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
