Position Overview
An established title operation in the Houston 77014 market is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer who brings an active book of business and a proven track record of managing residential title files from open to close. This role requires a licensed professional who can operate independently, deliver consistent service to clients, and maintain strong relationships with agents, lenders, and repeat customers.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full escrow process from file opening through funding and disbursement
- Maintain and grow a book of business through strong service and relationships
- Communicate with agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers to support smooth closings
- Review title commitments, resolve curative issues, and work with underwriting as needed
- Conduct signings and ensure all transactions meet Texas regulations
- Uphold company standards for accuracy, service, and turnaround times
- Protect confidential information and follow all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Texas Escrow Officer license
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of residential title and escrow experience
- Established book of business with consistent production
- Strong knowledge of Texas title procedures and curative workflows
- Ability to manage high volume with accuracy and professionalism
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Proficiency with escrow and title production software
- Strong organization and ability to work independently
