Position Overview This is an onsite position that may require OCONUS travel to host nation countries and the National Capital Region near DTRA Headquarters in Springfield. Responsibilities Provide knowledge and skills to prepare participants for HAZMAT and CBRN/WMD incidents. Train participants in NFPA competencies for operations-level responders. Train on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma. At least five years of experience in HAZMAT Operations. NFPA Technician Level Certification. Familiarity with the course content to be taught. Security Clearance Secret Clearance required; successful candidates will undergo a security investigation for access to classified information.
