Shift: 19:00-07:00 (7 PM to 7 AM) with every other weekend and some holiday requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, capability in trauma care, and proficiency in various critical care interventions. This role requires the ability to manage a diverse patient population, coordinating care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, documenting patient responses and care provided.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Support basic telemetry/EKG monitoring and respond to critical situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Active RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and de-escalation training (HWC, CPI, or MAB).
