Respiratory Therapist
Position: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Austell, GA 30106
Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay rate: $50/hr. Contract: 13 weeks Start: ASAP
Job Duties
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Implement advanced respiratory care based on comprehensive knowledge, experience, and the evaluate-and-treat process.
- Deliver care in complex, multi-problem patient situations, especially in critical care areas.
- Manage ventilator settings, protocol-driven ventilator management, and adjustment in high-acuity environments.
- Provide education to patients, their families, and support systems regarding respiratory care.
- Address population-specific needs, considering biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational factors.
