Enterprise Hardware Processing Technician

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Enterprise Hardware Processing Technician to support IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) operations. This role involves de-racking enterprise servers, wiping hard drives using industry-standard data erasure software, and sorting memory and other valuable components from enterprise IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely de-rack servers and other enterprise hardware in compliance with EHS protocols.
• Use software tools to securely wipe data from hard drives in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Identify, sort, and categorize memory and other reusable components for inventory and resale.
• Inspect equipment for physical damage and report discrepancies or missing components.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment processed and data erasure logs.
• Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Ensure all workspaces are kept clean and organized according to safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of enterprise IT hardware (servers, drives, memory modules, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle equipment safely.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow structured workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data erasure software and ITAD processes is a plus.
