About the Position

Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working 40 hours per week on 8-hour night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) . Candidates must have prior travel experience and demonstrated charge nurse experience.

The Psychiatric RN is responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with behavioral health and psychiatric needs. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, monitoring patient safety, responding to behavioral crises, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes. The RN is also expected to provide leadership and clinical support while serving in a charge nurse capacity as needed.

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current CPI Blue certification required at the time of submission
