Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (Level 1)
• BLS AHA certification
• ACLS AHA certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• AWHONN certification

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and health status throughout labor and postpartum.
• Assist in the delivery of infants and provide immediate care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and infant care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all interventions and patient responses per facility protocols.

Compliance / Notes:

• Compliance with clinical interview process required.
• Background checks and drug screenings may be part of the hiring process.
• Specific policies regarding time-off requests and holidays apply.
