University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in a home care setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient-centered care and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in their homes.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor patient health status and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding disease management, medication administration, and home care techniques.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support patient recovery.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or related field.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation to visit patients at their homes in Michigan.
