Location: Great Neck, New York
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Setting: In-Person
Specialty: OCD / Anxiety / CBT

Position Overview

An established outpatient mental health organization is seeking a Licensed Psychologist with a strong CBT focus to join its multidisciplinary team in Great Neck, NY .

The psychologist will provide evidence-based treatment for OCD, anxiety, BDD, mood disorders, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, and related conditions , including participation in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) .

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group psychotherapy using CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT, CPT, CBT-ED, and PE as appropriate.
Treat patients with OCD, anxiety, BDD, and other related behavioral health conditions.
Participate in the IOP and provide care for higher-acuity patients.
Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide ERP therapy , including community-based or home-based exposure when clinically appropriate.
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Participate in case consultations and program development.
Provide mentorship or supervision when appropriate.
Stay current with evidence-based behavioral health research and treatment.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Psychology ( Psy.D. or Ph.D. ) from an accredited program.
Active New York State Psychology license .
Strong foundation in CBT and a directive therapeutic approach.
Experience with evidence-based treatment; ERP experience strongly preferred .
Experience treating OCD, anxiety, BDD, eating disorders, autism, mood disorders, or related conditions.
Comfortable working with complex or higher-acuity patients.
Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills.

Preferred: Experience in inpatient, residential, hospital, or IOP settings; research or academic experience; clinical supervision or mentorship experience.

Compensation & Benefits

$140,000 – $180,000 annually
