Position: Prep Cook
Schedule: On-call basis (can work up to 40 hours)
Pay: $22 an hour, Weekly Pay!
Location: Kahala
Job Description:
Prepares ingredients for Kitchen staff, following a “prep list” by washing, chopping, measuring, and portioning items like vegetables, meals, and sauces, while also performing basic cooking tasks, maintaining a clean and organized station, ensuring food safety, and assisting with stocking and inventory to support smooth service within the kitchen.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals for members and guests
- Maintaining established food quality standards and consistency of menu items
- Adhering to state sanitation standards
Job Requirements:
- Must have knife skills for safe and efficient use.
- Must have familiarity of duties in all areas of the kitchen
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Must have black non-slip shoes.
- Must take direction well and be able to adapt.
- Must have ability to multi-task
- Must have ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
- Knowledge of proper handling and sanitation
