Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced MS RN with PALS certification to provide high-quality care in a critical access facility. This role involves night shifts and requires flexibility for floating within the hospital and nearby facilities.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient interactions accurately using Evident charting system.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, including mandatory on-call duties and adherence to schedule.
  
  
• 
  Maintain clinical competency through compliance with all required certifications.
  
  
• 
  Assist in patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid RN license in the state; license must be in hand before start.
  
  
• 
  Hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate 2+ years of recent RN experience, preferably in ICU, ED, L&D, Med Surg, or ACU.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work nights (3x12s) with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work within a 75-mile radius and follow travel compliance rules.
  
  
• 
  Capable of floating within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed.
