Substitute CustodianEssential Job Functions:Maintain a cooperative relationship with coworkers, staff, students, and the public.Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors and sidewalk areas, vacuum carpets.Empty wastebaskets & other refuse containers.Clean bathrooms, classrooms, & offices, replenish supplies.Qualifications:Knowledge of cleaning methodsUse of cleaning materials & equipmentSafety standards & practicesAbility to:Climb & work on laddersComprehend and follow oral and written instructionsExperience:Prior custodial or janitorial work experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Stand/Walk 5-6 HoursDrive 1-2 HoursSit 3-4 HoursStoop/Squat/Bend 1-2 HoursLift/Carry 1-2 Hours Up to a weight of 50 lbsClimb Stairs OccasionallyUse hands for repetitive motions FrequentlyUse feet for repetitive movements FrequentlyNote: If hired, no unauthorized comments or postings about district business or students are allowed on social media.
