Senior Product Manager, Commercial API Product

Job DescriptionThe RoleGeneral Motors’ Commercial API Product team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of some of GM's externally facing vehicle APIs. These APIs enable fleet customers and partners to integrate vehicle telematics data and vehicle controls directly into their own fleet management applications — powering scalable fleet operations, more personalized experiences and a connected and intelligent ecosystem.In this role, you will lead the product lifecycle for vehicle command APIs, vehicle telematics data retrieval APIs, and external data sharing capabilities that are mission-critical for our customers. You will partner with internal teams to identify, prioritize, develop, and externalize APIs that create value for customers by addressing their needs. You will also help expand GM's Commercial API product suite into new global markets and shape how vehicle data is securely shared with external developers and partners.Success in this role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to navigate complex cross-functional dependencies, and the ability to translate complex vehicle capabilities and data assets into intuitive customer-facing API products. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area. • The salary range for this role is 125,200 and 192,700.
