Joining the Prism Specialties Team Provides:Teamwork: Experience what it is like to work in a team environment surrounded by people who support and encourage you along the wayLearning & Development: Develop your skill set in electronics restoration while growing with a company that invests in its peopleMeaningful Work: Help restore items that matter to people — electronics, textiles, and personal belongings that many companies would simply discardA Day in the Life of a Lead Electronics Restoration Technician:Disassemble, evaluate, test, clean, restore, and reassemble electronics and appliancesPerform on-site evaluations, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of electronics and appliances in homes or businessesInventory, pack out, and transport electronics and consumer appliances from insured locationsDeliver and reinstall electronics and appliancesProvide detailed documentation and notes on inspected and restored itemsAssist with other restoration work (textiles, art, packouts, or related tasks) as neededWhat We Are Looking For In You:Prefer an associate degree in electronics or 3+ years' experience in consumer electronics or appliance repairAbility to communicate effectively in oral and written EnglishAbility to lift a minimum of 75 pounds repeatedlyComfortable working in non-climate controlled conditions and post-peril (fire, floods, etc.) environmentsValid driver's license with a clean driving record and able to drive box truckMust be able to pass a drug screening and background checkAdditional Expectations:Report to work on time and be available for occasional after-hours, weekend, or overtime work as neededAttend staff meetings and participate in ongoing trainingCooperate with supervisors and teammates and complete assigned dutiesMaintain high quality standards and a customer-service-focused attitudeProperly operate and care for company vehicles and equipmentAccurately document work and protect customer informationGain experience across textiles, electronics, art, and packouts as the business growsFollow all company safety policies and the employee handbookAbility to travel overnight when requiredThis position is full-time with hours that vary based on job volume.
