About the Role:

Join Enterprise Transportation Inc as a Diesel Mechanic Assistant and kickstart your career in the transportation industry! In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside experienced mechanics to ensure our fleet operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements.

Help maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

Support the team in troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting inspections.

Ensure tools and work areas are clean and organized.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn best practices and techniques.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics is a plus.

Basic understanding of diesel engine systems and mechanical concepts.

Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive environment preferred.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
