We are seeking a motivated ** Industrial Electricians** who is eager to learn, grow, and develop into a skilled industrial trades professional.Position OverviewThe Industrial Electrician supports licensed or experienced Industrial Electricians by assisting with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and industrial equipment. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who want to develop a long‑term career in the electrical and industrial services field.The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn through hands‑on work and ongoing training.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Installation SupportAssist with installing electrical conduit (EMT, rigid), wiring, junction boxes, and cable trays.Support the setup of motors, control panels, sensors, and equipment wiring.Help read and interpret basic electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit under supervision.Maintenance & Troubleshooting AssistanceHelp experienced electricians diagnose electrical issues and equipment failures.Assist with testing circuits, components, and wiring using basic electrical tools.Support preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, and component replacement.Industrial Equipment & Project SupportAssist with installation of conveyors, machinery, automation equipment, and production systems.Work closely with millwrights and mechanical teams on equipment installations or upgrades.Help prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment.Worksite & Safety ResponsibilitiesAlways follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety policies and procedures.Properly use PPE, inspect tools, and maintain a clean and safe work area.Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.Understand and follow lockout/tagout procedures under supervision.Documentation & CommunicationAccurately record hours worked, tasks performed, and materials used.Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.Assist with basic job documentation as needed.QualificationsRequiredBasic knowledge of electrical work OR strong mechanical aptitude.4 years of experience in electrical, construction, maintenance, or related trades.Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely.Ability to travel to job sites and work overtime or weekends as needed.OSHA 10 certification.Valid driver’s license.PreferredBasic understanding of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.Food & Beverage industry experience is a plus.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 50–75 lbs regularlyAbility to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work at heightsComfortable working in industrial environments, around machinery and varying temperaturesCapable of working in confined spaces or elevated areas when requiredCompetenciesStrong desire to learn and grow in the electrical tradeSafety-first mindsetGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow instructions and ask questionsProblem‑solving mindsetDependability and strong work ethicPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50–75 lbs regularlyAbility to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work at heightsComfortable working in industrial environments, around machinery and varying temperaturesCapable of working in confined spaces or elevated areas when requiredCompensation & BenefitsBenefits may include:WK Industrial Services Corporation is committed to providing a safe & drug-free work environment.WK Industrial Services Corporation is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to a culturally diverse workforce without regard to race, religion, color, age, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status or protected veteran status.You should be proficient in:OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)Machines & technologies you'll use:NEC Code and Standards #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
