Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during the pre-procedure (prep) phase, including patient assessment and preparation for interventional radiology procedures
• Deliver intra-procedure nursing support throughout interventional radiology and special procedures
• Monitor and care for patients during the recovery phase following procedures
• Administer and manage conscious sedation in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Participate in on-call rotation as required to support departmental coverage needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in interventional radiology or special procedures nursing
• Demonstrated experience in pre-procedure (prep) and post-procedure (recovery) patient care
• Intra-procedure nursing experience in an IR or procedural setting
• Proficiency with conscious sedation administration and monitoring
• Ability and willingness to participate in on-call scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume interventional radiology department
• Familiarity with a broad range of IR procedures and associated nursing protocols
