Region Operations Leader - Gulf Coast Industrial Distribution (Confidential)

Our client is a leading industrial distributor along the Gulf Coast is now looking for a Region Operations Leader to take full ownership of their Houston branch. This is a hands‑on leadership seat, not a desk job. You'll own warehouse operations (including fleet maintenance and delivery logistics) and lead an inside sales team that keeps outside sellers, contractors, and plant customers moving - quotation support, spot buys, customer service, and expediting. What You'll Own: Full operational leadership of warehouse, fleet, and delivery logistics for the region An inside sales organization supporting outside sellers with quotes, spot buys, customer service, and expediting Day-to-day priorities that shift constantly with contractor demand - no two days look the same Team growth and development - we measure success by how well you grow your people, not just whether you hit a number Working knowledge of the regional P&L, developed through understanding the business, not spreadsheet review What We're Looking For Required: Combined sales and operations experience in industrial MRO products, with direct exposure to refining, petrochemical, utility, or contractor end markets Experience leading an inside sales team that supports outside sellers and services demanding, contractor-driven accounts A demonstrated ability to develop and grow a team — this is the top measure of success in this seat Comfort navigating a dynamic day with shifting, largely contractor-driven priorities Preferred: Prior P&L exposure, understood as a byproduct of strong sales and ops leadership Long-term intent - a track record of real tenure and a credible reason for making a move now, not a pattern of job-hopping for incremental pay Why This Role Full ownership of a real P&L, without living in a spreadsheet A business built on service and expertise, not just moving product — this client sells the full value of what they do #J-18808-Ljbffr Revenue Optics
