Cardiothoracic Surgery NP Locums Job in Kansas Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Shift Details
Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
Call response time required: 30 minutes
Call ratio: 7 days per week
Locums call is for assigned patients

Requirements
BLS, ACLS
Hospital/surgery center privileges required

Assignment Details
Outpatient and inpatient
Patients per shift: 2-10
17-bed ICU
Duties include rounding on assigned patients and admissions
EMR: Epic
Physician will be required to supervise Advanced Practice Providers
Support staff: 1 RN, 1 MA, 2 PA/NPs
Phone consults: Low
Patients seen: 6-10 outpatient, 2-10 inpatients weekly
Call back percentage: 50%
Hospital stroke certified
Must be skilled and independent at vein harvesting utilizing the Maquet Vasoview system
Seeing physicians with two weeks per month of availability
