Travel Nursing Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130 Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Assignment Dates: November 23, 2026–January 16, 2027 Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Oklahoma or a valid multistate RN license Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery or maternal-child health Graduate of an approved professional nursing program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Proof of instruction or successful completion of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Epic electronic health record experience strongly preferred; experience in comparable clinical settings is beneficial Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, patient care, and documentation skills Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process Monitor maternal and fetal condition and respond appropriately to changing patient needs Organize and prioritize nursing care according to patient acuity, Labor & Delivery unit guidelines, and established standards Perform nursing skills appropriate to the Labor & Delivery patient population Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and progress accurately and promptly in the electronic health record Provide patient education and support discharge planning while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related factors Delegate appropriately and communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other healthcare professionals Make timely referrals and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support positive maternal and newborn outcomes Recognize and address patient or unit needs using sound professional judgment Participate in quality improvement activities, required education, in-services, and accurate variance reporting Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Labor & Delivery Travel RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
