What You'll Do:

Provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit utilizing the nursing process
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
Monitor patient responses and vital signs during procedures
Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Maintain compliance with all safety and privacy regulations

What You Need:

Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably with endoscopy or procedural care

Preferred:

Certification in a clinical specialty area
Proficiency with computers and electronic health records
Excellent communication and organizational skills
