What You'll Do:
- Provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit utilizing the nursing process
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
- Monitor patient responses and vital signs during procedures
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain compliance with all safety and privacy regulations
What You Need:
Required:- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably with endoscopy or procedural care
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Proficiency with computers and electronic health records
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
