Financial Intelligence Data Analyst/Scientist

Onboarding: Candidates need to have an active TS/SCI. According to TY's security team, The treasury department will transfer the candidates clearance from whichever agency they have if though and will make grant them SCI access within Treasury. This entire process probably takes 2 weeks, depending on the candidate.

Job Description

As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to inform policymakers of risks to the global financial system and economic security.
As a client-facing data analyst on our Financial Intelligence team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on our national security policy and economic statecraft issues, contributing to high-profile intelligence analysis for key policy and decision-makers.











NEED :

:
Experience using open-source machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn and tensor flow to answer business questions using proprietary data
Experience with statistical analysis, correlating disparate data, and OpenSearch analytics engine
Experience with probabilistic modeling or predictive modeling
Experience with performing data analysis using scripting languages such as python, R, MATLAB, and Spark
Experience implementing machine learning processes into production software applications
Experience using big data tools to answer business questions with proprietary data
Experience in building property graphs from multiple data sources to perform network analytics
Ability to analyze large, unstructured, and noisy datasets and identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results
TS/SCI clearance
Associate's degree and 6+ years of experience with data analysis, Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with data analysis, or Master's degree and 2+ years of experience with data analysis







Nice If You Have:

Experience conducting data analysis in a cleared and intelligence community environment
Experience with financial and trade data analysis
Knowledge of Western Hemisphere regional security, crime, or financial issues
Knowledge of formal and informal financial systems
Knowledge of financial crime and unlawful financial activity typologies
Ability to write finished intelligence products that conform to analytic tradecraft standards
Financial Intelligence, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS), or Certified Financial Crimes Specialist (CFCS) Certification
