Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the patient's plan of care
• Document and record patient progress accurately following each treatment session
• Report treatment results and patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience required
• Active Texas state license or compact license required
• Must be able to work within a long term care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting standards in a therapy setting
