Make a real and lasting difference! Union Station is an architectural treasure, but it has always been the people who have given this historic landmark a heart.

Be one of those people. Join the volunteers at Union Station and help the Station continue to be the place where Kansas City connects. Whether greeting guests inside Science City, helping bring our touring exhibits to life, assisting in the Model Railroad or Dino Lab, serving in our administration office, or working behind the scenes, Union Station volunteers make a big difference. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available. You can complete orientation and become a regular volunteer with us, or simply help out with general events. Together, we will find the perfect opportunity for you. You can also give us a hand with special events, exhibits, and fundraising.
