ATC Locums has an excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide ongoing labor and delivery call coverage at a well-established community hospital in western Kentucky. Opportunity Highlights Location: Paducah, Kentucky Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based Labor & Delivery Coverage Need: Ongoing, approximately 6 7 24-hour shifts per month , with the potential for additional dates Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM 24-hour call shifts Patient Volume: Average 1 6 patients per day Annual Deliveries: Approximately births with Labor & Delivery triage visits per month Procedures: Vaginal deliveries Cesarean sections VBAC management Breech and multiple gestation deliveries Operative obstetrics Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations Call: Combination of in-house and beeper/phone call coverage for EMTALA responsibilities EMR: Epic Support Staff: Dedicated midwives manage and deliver their own patients, with onsite laboratory and ultrasound services available. Level II nursery supports newborn care.
