Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the care, repair & preventative maintenance of the facility and its equipment.Responsibilities include:Engage in all maintenance functions for equipment repairs and upkeep.Determines causes for equipment failures and repairs as necessary.Performs PM's on daily basis and ensures replacement parts are on hand as needed.Participates with CCMS program to help manage the facilities downtime and increase visibility of the maintenance programEnsure correct materials are ordered & used for repairing production equipment.Researches and obtain quotes for parts & equipment as needed.Ensure safety standards and expectations are met at all times.Maintain a clean, safe work station and surrounding areas.Assist other team members as needed.Complies with all company policies & procedures including but not limited to attendance & appearance.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities And Work Environment:Effective teamwork skills.Ability to perform maintenance on all equipment in plant.Ability to order parts.Effective verbal communication skills.Ability to problem solve and escalate issues when needed.Ability to work safely and maintain safety expectations.Work Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing setting with machinery. Physical essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, and moving around machinery. Lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
