Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Proficient with virtual instruction platforms and technology to deliver remote services
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Innovative mindset and adaptability to meet student needs in a virtual learning setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging remote instruction and support to elementary students with hearing impairments
• Assess student needs, create goals, and monitor progress through data-driven practices
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers and staff to implement effective strategies and modifications
