About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading, employee-owned engineering and consulting firm seeking a Regional Global Practice Manager to lead and grow its Environmental Services practice across the South Central Region.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for strategic direction, business growth, client development, and operational execution across multiple offices. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team and drive profitable expansion of environmental consulting and design-build services.

What You’ll DoBusiness Growth & Strategy

• Develop and execute the regional business plan to expand Environmental Services capabilities and market presence
• Drive client development, pursuits, proposals, and contract negotiations
• Identify new opportunities and strengthen key client relationships
• Collaborate with national practice leadership and cross-functional teams to grow market share
• Support recruitment of key talent to scale the practice

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse team across multiple offices
• Set performance expectations aligned with business plan goals and financial targets
• Oversee staffing strategy, performance management, and succession planning
• Foster a unified team culture across the region

Project Delivery & Execution

• Oversee project execution to ensure quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction targets are met
• Provide guidance to project managers on delivery best practices and methodologies
• Ensure adherence to quality control programs and safety standards
• Serve as an executive-level sponsor or principal on key projects

Operational & Financial Oversight

• Drive revenue, profitability, and growth targets
• Manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and utilization
• Support risk management strategies and decision-making across the portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• 10+ years of consulting experience (engineering/environmental preferred)
• Proven leadership experience managing a business line, department, or regional team
• Strong background in client development, sales, and business strategy
• Experience managing complex projects including proposals, budgeting, and execution
• Demonstrated success in driving growth, profitability, and team development

Preferred:

• Master’s degree (Engineering or MBA)
• Background in environmental consulting, engineering, or design-build services
