Power BI Developer :: New York, New York (New York, NY)

Power BI Job Description:
- Certified Power BI Resource.
- Must have at least 6 Years of PBI experience.
- Experienced working on Power BI Premium.
- Experienced in working with Power Query, M language and Power Maps, and Custom Visualizations.
- Must have the ability to write Advanced DAX Expressions.
- Experience in Power BI Admin(administering Power BI permissions, installing Gateways, Scheduling).
- Ability to work with various data source like SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, SSAS, Azure Analysis Service, HDFS etc., from Power BI
- Data Preparation using the inbuilt features of Power BI
- Experience in Data Modelling and custom calculations in Power BI
- Using SQL for managing large volume of data SQL Query Tuning for best performance Improving data processing speed by building SQL automations
- Responsible for the design development coding testing debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas Keep the source code in a central repository with proper versioning control
- Expertise in designing and suggesting UI based on user requirements.
- Exposure to other reporting tools like Qlik and Cognos is good to have.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects.
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner, self-motivated and has the ability to work independently
- Strong verbal, written communication skills and a collaborative problem-solving style.
- Preferred: Willing to relocate to NYC and work in a Hybrid mode
