**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Right at Home Cleveland West! As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to seniors and vulnerable adults in their own homes. Our franchisees are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are looking for like-minded individuals who share our passion for care and compassion.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide companionship and support to clients, including light housekeeping, meal prep, and personal care services
* Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Help clients maintain their independence and dignity by supporting their daily routines and needs
* Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship
* Assist with medication reminders and other health-related tasks as needed
* Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and support
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field (n/a)
* Ability to lift 25 pounds and assist with transfers and ambulation
* Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (n/a)
* Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays (n/a)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and caring approach to caring for clients
