WE FUEL UPTIME. About the Role: The Inventory Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and associated costs. This position involves analyzing sales trends, monitoring inventory records, and collaborating with supply chain and sales teams to develop accurate inventory plans. The Inventory Analyst will utilize ERP systems to track and manage sales orders and order processes, ensuring data integrity and timely replenishment. By providing actionable insights and forecasts, the role supports efficient supply chain operations and contributes to overall business profitability. Ultimately, the Inventory Analyst helps maintain a balanced inventory that aligns with company goals and market dynamics. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in inventory management or supply chain analysis. Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and inventory metrics. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP). Experience working in a fast-paced retail or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools such as SQL or Tableau. Knowledge of lean inventory and just-in-time (JIT) methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects related to inventory optimization. Responsibilities: Analyze historical sales data and current market trends to forecast inventory requirements accurately. Monitor and maintain inventory records within ERP systems to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to coordinate order processes and inventory replenishment. Develop and implement inventory plans that optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs. Generate regular reports on inventory status, sales orders, and supply chain performance to inform decision-making. Skills: The Inventory Analyst uses inventory planning and management skills daily to balance stock levels with customer demand, ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Proficiency in ERP systems is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and processing sales orders seamlessly. Understanding supply chain principles allows the analyst to coordinate effectively with procurement and logistics teams to optimize order processes. Analytical skills are applied to interpret sales trends and forecast future inventory needs, enabling proactive decision-making. Additionally, strong communication skills facilitate collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment on inventory strategies and business objectives.
