Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit - Night Shift

Night shift (4x12-hour: 18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Neuro Unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, focusing on teamwork and patient safety. Candidates must be willing to float between units as needed and adhere to strict call-off policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage a patient load of 1:6, ensuring effective patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and provide patient education.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care quality.
• Participate in disaster response and be part of the Storm Team or Hurricane Team when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification and neuro experience preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
