About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 4 years recent ICU experience License: State RN License Certifications: BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have the ability to float to other facilities and departments. Completed references must be in hand at time of submission. Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters is required. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Float pool experience is preferred. Candidates must have recent experience caring for ECMO patients as a bedside nurse. Candidates should be assessed based on their ability to function within a critical care model, rather than experience alone. Description: This position requires strong experience in ICU nursing. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex critical care patients. The role involves caring for patients with advanced cardiovascular conditions. Candidates will float to various units including ED and PACU as needed. Experience with advanced support devices is critical. Candidates with prior experience in a teaching hospital environment are preferred. The role includes caring for patients undergoing major surgeries and transplants. Candidates should be prepared to work with multiple support devices simultaneously. This is a float pool position with the ability to float to any unit as operational needs dictate. Solid clinical skills and ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role. Strong experience in cardiovascular critical care is highly desirable. Travel experience within the last five years is required. Quality references from recent employers will be necessary for consideration.
