Santa Ana, CA | SNA 18601 Airport Way Santa Ana, CA 92707, USA Role Purpose The aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft at the airport. This role requires performing basic mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regard to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. The Fueler also maintains a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures. Responsibilities Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft. Accurately account for fuel transactions. Conduct daily quality control checks on equipment, keeping equipment clean and functional. Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel. Defuel aircraft as directed. Qualifications Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English and ability to perform basic math calculations. Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs, handling fueling carts and hoses. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Availability and flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Prior experience preferred, including possession of a commercial driver’s license or experience in the Oil and Gas industry. High school diploma or equivalent. Licenses & Certifications Driver’s license.
