Civil Litigation Associate - Landlord/Tenant - Habitability Team

A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Associate for the Landlord/Tenant Habitability Team in San Diego. This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The position involves working closely with lead attorneys on landlord and property management cases related to building safety and health code issues. Duties Attend court hearings and participate in site inspections. Take and defend depositions. Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories and document requests. Evaluate and execute litigation strategies. Manage client communications throughout litigation. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing. Experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting. Excellent time management skills. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Active membership in the California State Bar. Skills Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
