Overview As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Responsibilities Ensure new hires are thoroughly trained and ongoing training is provided to all employees to ensure their continued success. Oversee associates, manage work schedules, and ensure attendance is accurately recorded. Maintain employee awareness and compliance with QSHE (Quality, Safety & Health, Environment). Provide reporting and take part in weekly and monthly business reviews. Analyze process improvements and rollout of agreed next steps. Establish a clear communication channel between internal and external stakeholders. Make recommendations to improve operations using continuous improvement techniques, drive cost‑saving initiatives, and track savings. Participate in or lead BRMs (Business Review Meetings) and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews); provide and present KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to customers and business stakeholders. Meet with customer and key contacts to achieve mutually defined goals. Support your team in training for heavy duty material handling equipment (heavy duty forklifts and indoor crane lifts). Complete advanced and complicated tasks requiring considerable judgment, problem resolution, and independent analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of warehousing experience. 3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution environment. 1+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement. Knowledge of various production and quality systems. Experience in heavy duty equipment such as heavy duty forklifts, heavy duty machines, and indoor crane lifts.
