Job Description
Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Schedule:
Shift: Day - 3x12
Days: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday
Hours: 0700-1930

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Previous clinical experience desired

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
- Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring that critical cases are attended first.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as per physician orders.
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Work closely with the medical team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
- Accurately record patient information, treatment plans, and responses to care in electronic health records (EHR).
