Overview
Registered Nurse - ICU in Burlington, Vermont (Travel - Temporary Assignment)
Start date: 09/21/2026 for a 16-week assignment in an ICU unit within a hospital setting. Shift pattern is 3x12-hour Nights. Weekly pay ranges from $2,513 to $2,630. This travel assignment uses an ICU float pool model with required LOA/floating. A minimum of every-other weekend is expected, with scheduling adjusted to unit and patient-care needs. This is a temporary, travel-care role through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to high-acuity ICU patients, including post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma, neurosurgery cases, and overflow MICU populations.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, operate or manage invasive devices as appropriate, and respond quickly to patient condition changes.
- Administer medications, perform ICU procedures per protocol, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document care and outcomes in EPIC within the past 2 years, maintain accurate charts, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, APRNs, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans; participate in unit float rotations as required.
- Adhere to AHA guidelines (BLS, ACLS) and NIHSS assessment requirements; maintain infection control and PPE compliance.

Requirements
- Active RN license (as applicable for practice)
- Certifications: AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required; NIHSS required prior to start; CCRN preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Education: Completion of an approved nursing program (RN)
- Additional: EPIC experience within the past 2 years; hemodynamic device experience; able to work in a large, teaching facility environment; flexible scheduling and floating within central ICU pool; reliable transportation due to local commuting constraints
