Pharmacy Coordinator: Pharmacy Integrated Service (Operations/Compliance)

Job Description Summary This is a full-time day shift position at OhioHealth’s brand-new Pharmacy Integrated Service Center (ISC) in Canal Winchester. The ISC will distribute medications for all OhioHealth clinics and house a Pharmacy Learning Center. The Pharmacy Coordinator will be responsible for Operations and Compliance. At least 5 years of practicing as a pharmacist is required; previous related experience is strongly preferred. Minimum Qualifications And Specialized Knowledge Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution (Required) Current Ohio pharmacist license (Required) Minimum 5 years of experience (Required) Basic Life Support Certification—current or obtained during orientation (unless >50% of scheduled hours off-site or not in patient care) ASHP accredited residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience Pharmacy Board Certifications or other certifications Advanced-level degree in healthcare field Collaborative practice experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (may be required as determined by manager) Pharmacokinetic drug dosing experience Drug therapy management Responsibilities And Duties 40% Clinical and Operational Activities: Focus on clinical workload and operational staffing; realign resources to meet daily workload, reassign staff due to call‑offs, oversee clinical services outcomes, generate reports, manage formulary and purchasing. 40% Clinical Quality and Regulatory Oversight: Oversee quality and safety plan, collaborate with others to address safety concerns, conduct report analysis, root cause analysis, trending safety events; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as The Joint Commission, Board of Pharmacy, USP, EPA, Delaware regulations. 10% Committee Facilitation and Organizational Alignment: Chair and participate in committees including Medication Management, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Formulary Sub‑Committee, Medication Safety, and the Joint Commission Core group. 10% Maintenance of Clinical & Operational Skill Sets: Continue direct patient care to maintain competence.
