Finance Manager

A growing consumer products company is seeking a Finance Manager to play a key role in FP&A, demand planning, and commercial finance. This is a highly analytical and business-facing position that will partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to improve forecasting, optimize inventory, drive profitability, and support strategic decision‑making. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of finance and the business and can turn complex data into practical recommendations. Key Responsibilities FP&A Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning Build driver-based financial models connecting sales, demand, pricing, inventory, and profitability Analyze performance against forecast and identify key business drivers and risks Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations Demand Planning & Forecasting Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing on rolling forecasts by SKU, customer, and channel Improve forecast accuracy through analysis and refinement of forecasting assumptions Incorporate sales trends, promotions, seasonality, new product launches, and customer behavior into forecasts Participate in the monthly S&OP process Monitor forecast bias, inventory levels, service levels, and stockout risks and recommend corrective actions Commercial Finance Support pricing, trade spend, promotional ROI, and customer profitability initiatives Analyze gross margin across products, channels, and customers Build models supporting new product launches, assortment decisions, channel expansion, and strategic investments Partner with Sales leadership to evaluate customer programs and improve account-level profitability Data & Process Improvement Build automated reporting and dashboards around key business metrics Improve forecasting, planning, and reporting processes Enhance data integrity across ERP, planning, and BI systems Support implementation and optimization of FP&A and demand planning tools Must Haves 5–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Demand Planning, or Corporate Finance CPG, food & beverage, retail, e-commerce, or other omnichannel consumer products experience Excellent communication and business partnering skills Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities Strong understanding of inventory management and S&OP Ability to work with large datasets and translate analysis into actionable business recommendations Nice to Haves Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI experience SQL or other data analytics experience Experience supporting FP&A or demand planning system implementations Why Consider It?
