Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and interpret routine and specialized laboratory tests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Include Receiving, preparing, and analyzing specimens per established protocols Performing quality control, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting Ensuring adherence to safety, accreditation, and compliance guidelines Documenting results accurately and escalating issues when necessary Participating in performance improvement and inventory management Communicating effectively with team members and patients, respecting privacy and protocols Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or related field Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license or permit (must obtain within 90 days if applicable) ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist (must obtain within 90 days) Skills And Abilities Proficiency with computer applications and data entry Effective communication and analytical skills Good judgment, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Physical and environmental demands: Ability to perform heavy work, with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential communicable diseases, within a healthcare setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
