Travel Swing Bed LPN - Nights

Location: Carlsbad, NM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, floating and call required.

Job Description: The Travel Swing Bed LPN is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and the ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities effectively in a Nursing environment. Duties include administering medications, conducting physical examinations, implementing physician's orders, and documenting patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated aspects of direct patient care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform physical examinations and collect patient data.
• Implement physician's orders and document accurately.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and educate patients.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• Registered with the State of New Mexico for fingerprinting process.
