SEO Specialist

SEO SpecialistAn established B2B SaaS company is seeking an SEO Specialist to take full ownership of organic search for the organization.This individual will own keyword strategy, on-page and technical optimization, and help build out the company's emerging AI/generative search presence. This is a dedicated specialist seat with real autonomy - not one of several responsibilities split across a broader marketing role.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn organic search end-to-end: keyword research, on-page and technical SEOMonitor site performance and analytics, tracking and reporting on what's workingStay current on search engine algorithm updates and competitor SEO strategyPartner with marketing and development to ensure SEO best practices are implementedHelp build out the company's AI/generative search (GEO) approach as the function maturesQualifications2+ years of dedicated, hands-on SEO experience - not general marketing experienceProficiency with SEO/analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar)Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptAbility to independently own SEO from strategy through executionCuriosity about AI/generative search is a plusWhy Consider This OpportunityOwn organic search for an established company with no layoffs through any downturn, including COVIDReport directly to the Marketing Director on a growing team (3 to 10 people over 8 years)Help shape the company's AI/generative search strategy from the ground upClear growth path toward SEO Manager or AI Manager
