Internal Medicine Physician | Full-Time
Location: Naugatuck, Connecticut
A well-established, community-focused healthcare organization in the Naugatuck, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join its expanding outpatient practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong referral support and access to system-wide clinical resources.
The organization maintains an academic affiliation with the Yale School of Medicine, offering opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and professional growth.
New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply!
Position Overview
• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patient populations
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions with a focus on continuity of care
• Perform preventive care, screenings, and wellness visits
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize EMR for documentation and patient management
• Participate in quality initiatives and population health programs
• Shared call coverage as applicable
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
• Active or eligible DEA registration
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
