Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with DME experience for a 13-week day shift assignment at an Iowa medical center.

Details

• Durable Medical Equipment (DME) unit setting
• Performs PAP device setups including mask fits, O2 assessments, and home ventilator support
• Uses Brightree system and iPad for documentation and operations
• ResMed PAP device experience preferred
• Works with ResMed and Fisher & Paykel PAP masks, as well as Astral and Trilogy ventilators
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM preferred; 4x10-hour or 4x9-hour day schedules may also be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Active Iowa RT license required; Minnesota RT license preferred
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification may be required depending on assignment area (American Heart Association)
• License required if applicable
• References required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Conduct PAP device setups, mask fittings, oxygen assessments, and support patients on home ventilators
• Experience with ResMed PAP devices is preferred
• Local candidates are accepted in Iowa at the local pay rate
