Medical Director, US Vaccines Medical Affairs, Policy Methodologist, non-MD

Medical Director position leading vaccine policy methodology and strategic analysis for Pfizer's US Medical Affairs. The role coordinates policy strategies with CDC ACIP, medical societies, and internal teams across inline and pipeline vaccine assets, overseeing evidence reviews and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead methodological reviews and policy analysis for vaccine assets across CDC ACIP and medical society forums
• Conduct internal GRADE analyses and Evidence to Recommendations assessments for all vaccine portfolio
• Develop data generation plans and policy strategies coordinating with asset leads and cross-functional teams
• Serve as primary Pfizer contact for CDC ACIP, medical societies, and vaccine policy stakeholders
• Support strategic and tactical medical plan execution aligned with vaccine policy objectives and forecasting

Requirements

• PharmD or PhD with 5+ years experience; Master's degree with 7+ years; Bachelor's degree with 8+ years
• Expertise in vaccine policy development, GRADE methodology, and Evidence to Recommendations Framework
• Demonstrated knowledge of CDC ACIP processes and medical society vaccine guideline development
• Strong track record in systematic evidence reviews and complex data interpretation and presentation
• Proven cross-functional team leadership with ability to influence peers and external stakeholders
• Excellent scientific writing and verbal communication skills with publication record preferred

Compensation: $176,600–$294,300 base salary, plus 20% bonus target and long-term incentive eligibility
