Accounting Manager

Our client offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment where this role plays a key part in supporting construction operations and financial accuracy. This position provides leadership responsibility, visibility across projects, and the opportunity to improve and streamline accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations related to invoice processing, accounts payable, and loan draw activity
Supervise, mentor, and prioritize work for accounting and accounts payable staff
Review and approve invoices, payments, and loan draw packages
Serve as the primary internal contact for loan draws, deadlines, and related issues
Support set-up of new projects and maintain invoice workflow systems
Assist with construction budgets, cost-to-complete analysis, and cost reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience; construction or homebuilding experience preferred
Prior experience managing or leading a team
Proficiency with accounting systems, AP workflow tools, and Excel
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
