Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Van Driver. This is a part-time position located at Coloma High School. The Van Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a school van while transporting students to and from school-related activities
• Ensure the safety of all passengers while in transit
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents/guardians
• Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate authorities
• Follow all school policies and procedures related to transportation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Chauffeur Endorsement
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and school staff
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation to and from work
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Previous experience as a driver or working with children is preferred, but not required.
