We are currently recruiting for Per-Diem Respiratory Therapists to join our skilled Respiratory Team in Voorhees, NJ.

About Us: Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is a nationally recognized pediatric specialty care center with 119 inpatient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF is Joint Commissionaccredited at the highest level and provides care for medically fragile children across inpatient, rehabilitation, medical daycare, and educational programs through The Bancroft School at VPF. We deliver care through a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on the whole child.

Compensation: $45 per hour

As a Respiratory Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Effectively operating, maintaining, and utilizing respiratory care equipment to support safe and appropriate patient/resident care.
• Evaluating patients to identify functional needs and developing appropriate treatment recommendations and intervention plans.
• Providing individualized, developmentally appropriate care and treatment in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment, equipment, and interventions based on ongoing assessment and clinical needs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation while complying with applicable regulations, facility policies, and professional standards.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, staff, and outside professionals while promoting safety, confidentiality, teamwork, and a family-centered approach to care.
• Participating in quality improvement activities, staff development, continuing education, and department initiatives to support high-quality patient/resident care.
• Demonstrating effective organization, time management, and resource management while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Occasional relocation to Weisman Children's Hospital to provide Respiratory Therapist services.

Position Requirements:

• Current NJ licensure in Respiratory Care.
• CRT or RRT credential
• Current/Active CPR Certification (AHA or ARC only.)
• Previous Pediatric Healthcare experience, preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Schedule:

• 12 hour shifts
• Days, Nights and/or weekends
• Flexible Schedule
